Sometimes you will try something new and find it easy, fun, or interesting. Sometimes you will be challenged by new things that are difficult, may not be fun or even interesting in the beginning. Don’t get discouraged and don’t give up! If it is important to you, keep at it. Thomas Edison said, “Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration.” Don’t let people tell you that because you are a girl you can’t do hard things like science or sports. Go for it!
