Advice:
Reflecting on my own life, I think I could fill a book with sage advice for those just beginning their own journey through life. As Dr. Seuss said, “Oh, the places you’ll go!” Some of the most important things I’ve learned and that are good to remember when you’re just starting out are basic– show kindness and respect to others; be open to new opportunities; pay close attention to your studies because a good education will open many doors; and, no matter how busy you are, always take time to enjoy the simple pleasures life affords us each and every day. We only pass this way once and how sad if we were so focused on our goals that we missed the wonder and the beauty of the world around us and the joy of family and friends.
