Advice:
A talented student at a beautiful Catholic university once asked me, “Mrs. Geyer, what are they looking for out there?”
I was saddened- and horrified.
What was “out there” was relatively unimportant to what was “in there”- in your heart, and soul, and mind. Life should be an exploration and a working out of your own talents and passions.
But, at the same time, you cannot know either of those when you are starting out. So, wherever you are, take advantage of all you can learn. Never spurn it because you feel a position is under your capacities. You will then find that each step carries its own joys and rewards.
