Advice:
As I am sure your teachers have told you, success always requires education and hard work. Know as much as you can know about whatever it is that you do. You will go far if you are continually learning. Beyond that, I would advise young women to find something they love and that makes them happy outside of work. You will be more likely to succeed if you are also a happy person in daily life. Each woman will have a different meaning for success, but having a happy and well-rounded life goes a long way toward achieving it.
Experience is also critical. I would encourage you, and all young women, to take every opportunity to gain leadership experience. This might come in the form of an after-school program, club, internship, or job. In each of these you have opportunities to build new knowledge and skills by applying what you have learned in new settings and situations. This ability is absolutely critical to success. It may seem intimidating at first, but you can do it! Be confident. As you gain experience and continue to learn, your abilities will only get stronger.
