Advice:
I think the best advice I can give is to develop a healthy curiosity about the people and world around you, and to learn about people and cultures that are very different from yours. As a sociologist, I find people’s stories endlessly interesting. Knowing more about those who are very different from you can help you find new ways of doing things and develop a greater appreciation for the world’s diversity.
