Advice:

Don’t ever settle. Don’t ever let another person’s underestimation of you become your own estimation of your abilities. Prove the naysayers wrong. Don’t ever stop reading- and make a point to try to read and understand subjects that are NOT of interest to you. It is a joy to learn and you will REALLY understand that once you are no longer in school.

There is only one you- so be the best most special you possible. You are unique- and that word starts with “u.”

Finally- don’t let an hour pass without finding something for which you are grateful. Say thank you- they are among the two most important words in the English language… the grease that keeps society running smoothly. People remember you when you say thank you- but they REALLY remember you when you don’t. And that’s NOT the way you want to be remembered!
